Mél Hogan is a candidate in the Joint PhD in Communication at Concordia University.

Her work is on digital value through digital archives, media repositories, and Canadian online distribution models for video artists. Her work focuses mainly on SAW Video's Mediatheque project and defunct video art repositories. As a Curatorial Research Creation project, her PhD is based at WAYWARD.

She is the Art Director and Publisher of print-on-demand and online journal NOMOREPOTLUCKS and is the Creative Director of ARCHINODES, working with web developer Jeff Traynor.

She has recently been working on a series of archive + collection projects relating to story (re)telling through sns and web 2.0 inspired approaches. A new video collaboration with Frédérick Belzile, under the moniker BRUCE, is due out soon.
